Are these good Christmas presents?
I am making special Christmas presents for 2 of my closest friends. For my first friend, I am making her a homemade make-up bag with nail polish, lip balm, body spray, lip gloss, eye liner and a few more things. It's going to be in a clear bag and I am decorating it with ribbon with her name in rhinestones. I am also making her a mix CDs with some of my favourite songs as well as a few songs from he favourite artists. For my other friend, I am probably getting her a T necklace (her name is Tiffany) and also a mix CD. For some of my other friends I am getting them a homemade hot chocolate mix, with a layer of hot chocolate, a layer of unsweetened cocoa and a layer of each marshmellows and chocolate chips. What do you think of my presents??
Oh and on the CD I am planning on saying something sweet like "I know our friendship is priceless, but this is all I can do for now!".
As long as you are very careful with your creativity so that they look lovely and not tacky, the gifts sound great. Make sure the make-up are colors that actually accommodate her style and her facial tone. With the CD's, why not give her a 1 GB mp3 player... its not that expensive (like less that $50) and additional to the songs you get for her, she can add her own and change it up every so often. Plus the CD's are kinda difficult to carry around and are getting out of style. But if you can't afford that then just make sure its a good selection of songs.
