framing nail guns, clipped head or full head ?
whats the pros & cons between those types, is one better than the other ?
Full head nailers usually have a little more driving force. For example, they will pull plywood into studs with their full head, where clipped nails will sometimes blast halfway through, and the sheeting will pop out later. If there is a little twist in a 2x6, say when you are building a box header, you will have to put in a few hand nails to take the twist out with a clipped head. Full head will have no problem. I own both, and they are both Hitachi brand, nice and light, but plenty tough. Full head nailers are a little more in price, but it saves having to finish off every other shot by hand.
