Whats the most ridiculous question that you've ever been asked?
You know those questions that leave you stumped? Like you're waiting on them to correct themselves, only to realize eventually that they're being serious?
I had a nail file and a nail buffer on the counter yesterday (the nail buffer was much thicker than the file). Anyway, my housekeeper comes up to me and picks up the file, places it on top of the buffer and asks me, "Is this there to hold this?"
I'm like.....um.......what????
So yea, I still don't understand what the hell she was thinking...I couldn't even laugh it off because I was so confused.
So, I was working as a manager for a cell phone store and I had a lady come in and asked me (in front of a rep who I shall call SPE - for "Stupidest person Ever") if our phones worked in Vancouver BC. I told her no, they would not and SPE butts in and says "Yes they do! I live in Vancouver and my phone works just fine"
This is how the rest of the "conversation" went.
Me: "No, not Vancouver, Washington...Vancouver BC"
SPE: Blank stare followed by "BC????"
Me: "Yes, you know...British Columbia."
SPE: More blank stare accompanied by a slight head shake.
Me: "Canada!"
SPE: (looking puzzled) "What's Canada?"
Customer starts laughing hysterically and I turn red with rage that someone that stupid actually lives and breathes.
