i've had it with shaving my legs!?
Bought a cheap razor and i'm bleeding everywhere, so whats best other than shaving? I've tried hair removal cream but it seems quite expensive and stung abit, leaving me blotchy, has anyone tried those hair buffers? are they any good? and waxing, i tried once and pulled the strips off as fast as i could and nothing came off on em, can anyone suggest any good ones or tips? thanks! xx
oh and i bought the cheap ones after having a bad experience with an expensive one 
Most of us get cut using razors at some time or other but they are the quickest and cheapest way to get hair free legs. Make sure that you dont have any ingrowing hairs by regularly rubbing your legs with a soapy nylon bath net. Make sure that your legs are really well lathered and when using the razor remember to shave from the bottom up i.e. opposite to the direction that the hair grows and rinse. Dont do your legs in a hot bath as the heat opens up the pores and any nicks will keep bleeding for longer. Hair removal cream is expensive, stinks and is messy. I have tried the buffers- they are like very fine sandpaper-DO NOT be tempted to try and cut costs using sandpaper as you will not find any fine enough. They do leave your legs very smooth but as you are only like shaving, removing the surface hair, regrowth soon appears. With waxing you really must allow the hairs to grow to at least 1-2cm! Place the warm wax or wax strips that you have warmed in your hands for a couple of minutes onto the leg and press down in the direction of the hair growth. You must then grit your teeth and rip the strip off very quickly pulling upwards-opposite to the hair growth and the way you initially placed them on to the leg. Because you are removing the hair from beneath the surface of the skin, regrowth takes longer to appear. I have tried all these methods and my advice is to do the same as me and buy an epilator (GB£30-40). Hair does not need to be long-same as shaving -2mm and results are as good as waxing and a lot less messy. Once you have bought it thats it money wise and I personally find that if you let the hairs grow too long then it hurts more-just give them a quick going over every 2-3 weeks and they also leave legs smooth and are supposed to actually lesson hair growth and thickness with continued use.
